A general member in good standing who meets the nomination and qualification requirements is eligible to be nominated and stand for election to an open position on the Board of Directors (Board) of CCAI. If a general member is interested in receiving a nomination and meets the outlined requirements, they should contact a member of the Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee consists of the President, Past President, and select Nomination Committee Board members.
Members who meet the requirements and receive a nomination will be considered for election by the general membership at the annual meeting. The term for a Board member is three years. Executive Officers are nominated from a list of qualified Board members and approved by the Board, and then elected by the general membership at the annual meeting. As Executive Officers advance through the chair positions—President, First Vice President, Second Vice President—vacancies will be filled by elected Board members. Vacancies may also arise due to unexpected transfers, resignations, promotions, or reassignments.
Candidates must submit all supporting documents to the Nomination Committee through the CCAI office at least 45 days before the annual meeting. For more information on the nomination process or how to get involved with CCAI, please speak to any Officer or Board member. Now is the time to get on board!
