Greetings everyone,
I would like to start off first by
saying
thank you to everyone for your confidence
in allowing me to be your president.
I look
forward to a prosperous year.
We are getting closer to taking a giant
leap
on our web site. In an effort to provide
the best technology to our members
we feel
that this endeavor will help us get
there.
Everyone will be able to register for
classes,
make dues payments along with a host
of other
things that our current web site is
just
not able to support.
From what we heard from most everyone,
the
conference was a great success. The
Training
Committee tries very hard to bring
you the
members the most current and up to
date training
we can. We are also aware that everyone
keeps
asking when we are going to conduct
live
fire training again. As most of you
know,
it is a very expensive endeavor, but
with
that said, we are attempting to have
another
one in the near future.
I also want to take this opportunity
to say
thank you to everyone that helped with
this
last conference. There are so many
hours
that so many people put in to make
these
conferences successful. I don't want
to name
names, because no matter how much I
try I
know I will inadvertently leave someone
out,
but Thanks to everyone.
Our CFI program is also taking a new
leap.
As I hope you are aware, we are now
testing
as part of the requirement for CFI.
The committee
took a long hard look at this topic.
I assure
you we did not just jump into this
without
thinking it through with a lot of discussion.
We feel that it only makes our certification
stronger, not only in court, but more
equal
to our parent organization, IAAI. The
committee
has given a lot of effort and time
in making
our certification program one of the
best
just as it puts every effort forward
to giving
the most up to date training.
I also want to make an honest open
invitation
to everyone that has ever even just
thought
about it to get involved in this organization.
We need fresh minds and new ideas.
Let me
also say that the decisions made by
your
Board of Directors are made with CCAI's
best
interest in mind. We take it to heart
that
our decisions affect our members,and
our
members, you, are the reason we are
here.
I also feel very strong about the roundtables
and doing what ever we can to help
them in
reaching out to all of you that are
unable
to attend the conferences. We are about
training
and reaching all of our members.
In closing, please check back often.
