This recall involves all Longfellow model 3- and 4-light light fixtures for indoor or outdoor use. The black metal fixtures have a clear/frosted glass shade on four sides and can be wall mounted or ceiling mounted. Model number 731KL04EB, 731KM03EB, 731P03EB, 331P03BL, 731P03EB or 331P04BL is printed on the label on the canopy of the ceiling mounted fixtures or the backplate of wall mounted fixtures.

This recall involves Lunera 13 watt Helen GX23 LED industrial lamps. The dimmable lamps are white and measure 6 inches long by 1.25 inches wide by 0.75 inches thick. The Lunera logo is printed on the front on the lamp at one end. Model numbers HN-H-UNV-GX23-13W-2700-G3, HN-H-UNV-GX23-13W-3000-G3, HN-H-UNV-GX23-13W-3500-G3 and HN-H-UNV-GX23-13W-4000-G3 appear on the back of the connector. The date code, ranging from 1501 to 1552, is stamped on the bottom of the connector.

SUMMARY:

Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (Suzuki) is recalling certain model year 2013 Suzuki SFV650 motorcycles manufactured March 23, 2013, to April 8, 2013, 2014 Suzuki SFV650 motorcycles manufactured October 24, 2013, to November 26, 2013 and 2015 Suzuki SFV650 motorcycles manufactured August 9, 2014, to September 12, 2014. During assembly of the motorcycle, the fuel tank breather hose may have not been positioned properly and may become kinked.

CONSEQUENCE:

If the fuel tank breather hose is kinked, pressure may build inside the fuel tank and cause the tank to crack, resulting in a fuel leak, increasing the risk of a fire.

In the new issue of NFPA Journal®, President Jim Shannon said the Association will focus on the leading causes of home fires, including cooking. "We also need to continue to push hard for home fire sprinklers. That's still a large priority for NFPA, and we plan to work very aggressively in 2014 on our residential sprinkler initiative," he said.

Hoverboards Put On No-Fly List, As Airlines Cite Fire Concerns

Hoverboards like the one seen here won't be allowed on flights by America's top three airlines, which are citing a potential fire hazard related to the self-balancing scooters' powerful lithium-ion batteries.Citing a potential fire hazard, major U.S. airlines are banning hoverboards from their cabins and cargo holds. Announcing its ban, Delta acknowledged the toy's "presence on many gift lists this holiday season" but said safety comes first.

The bans come as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says it's looking into at least 10 reports of the self-balancing electric scooters bursting in flames — an occurrence that's allegedly been captured on video, in some cases.
